On SUPERSTAR CHEF CHALLENGE, 10 chefs from across Canada compete to become the host of their own Food Network Canada program. In VPTV's opinion, the series suffers from its 6 half-hour episode format. This is barely enough time for viewers to get to know the chefs by name and not nearly enough time for us to emotionally commit to rooting for any of them.

The 2007 edition of SCC premiered in June. We were expecting to bring you the casting info to be on SUPERSTAR CHEF CHALLENGE 2008 in April/08, but no casting announcement has been made. We have queried the network to determine whether the series has been cancelled. VPTV will update this post if/when new information becomes available.
