The future of CANADIAN IDOL "is in doubt," according to a CP story posted on the CTV website. It has been cancelled for 2009 for sure, and maybe permanently. VPTV will update this post if and when we hear anything decisive about 2010. If CTV does decide to renew and id they follow the same schedule as previous seasons, auditions will be announced in late 2009 or early 2010 for a summer airing.
